Cabinet Di Pietro (hereinafter “Cabinet Di Pietro”, “us“, “we“, “our“) are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, and security of the personal information they hold.

- Personal Information of Children under 14

We will obtain the consent of the parent or legal guardian of such child in accordance with applicable laws. - Retention and Destruction of Personal Information
The Personal Information we collect is retained for varying periods of time depending on the type of information in question and the purposes for which it is collected and used. Subject to a retention period provided for by applicable law, the Personal Information we hold is destroyed or anonymized to use for serious and legitimate purposes once the purpose(s) for which it was collected or used (or any subsequent and compatible purpose(s)) has been fulfilled. That said, please note that under regulatory provisions applicable to the legal profession, we must as a general rule retain our clients’ files for at least seven (7) years from the date of their closure (i.e., the of the mandate or payment of all of our fees). However, an original document belonging to a client cannot be destroyed without the client’s authorization or without giving the client the opportunity to take it back.
